What is the missing piece of information? How can academics, relationships, work, and daily living improve?
There is a simple answer to this question: A neuropsychological evaluation. Knowing more about how your brain processes language, takes in and stores information, as well as how it engages in complex problem solving can help to identify your personal strengths and what may be impacting your ability to experience success in your life and relationships.
For most of their lives, many of the clients that I see have been plagued with feelings of hopelessness. Despite pursuing a range of different therapies and treatment interventions, they continue to feel ‘stuck’ in their lives. One of the most common statements my clients say is, “Nothing has worked." Effective treatment planning is directly related to diagnostic clarification, which is linked to asking and answering the right questions. A neuropsychological evaluation can provide invaluable insight to your personal strengths, and what may be ‘getting in the way’ of experiencing more joy, hope, and greater success in your life.
"Today is a new day" is what I often say to my clients. It is my deepest hope that clients leave their appointment with a new understanding of how their brain learns and remembers information, comprehends and uses language, as well as engages in problem-solving; many times, this information provides clients with the 'missing pieces' to their struggles.
